Dive Differently.

At Dive Academy Fiji, we optimise for experience — not volume. You dive with a maximum of four guests per boat, guided by PADI Divemasters and snorkelling guides who know this reef intimately. Every course supports a local scholarship, and 4,000 corals planted in our nursery are proof of our commitment to the bay we call home. Award-winning, community-rooted, and genuinely invested in what happens here. And yes, from here we can dive the famous Great White Wall on almost every day.
4 divers per boat
Maximum four guests per boat — no compromise. Your PADI Divemaster can focus entirely on your group, read the conditions, and take you to the right site at the right moment.
5 min to the White Wall
The closest operator to the Great White Wall. All other sites only 5-15 minutes away. The proximity and small groups allow a more flexible dive plan. We can time the White Wall on almost every day - sometimes even by night.
Night Dives
The Wall at night is a different experience entirely. We are the only operation in the area offering guided night dives on the Great White Wall.
1 Single Tank Dives
We return to the resort between every dive. That means you can book single tank dives — one at a time, at your pace. Two morning dives, optional afternoon or night dives - or more time to relax. Your day, your combination.
1 PADI Freedive Center
Freediving is not about holding your breath. It's about learning to calm your mind, relax your body, and find that extra moment below — safely and with confidence.
#1 Dive Resort in Fiji
Rated #1 Dive Resort in Fiji by Fiji Pocket Guide 2025. TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice every year since 2021. Multiple PADI Certificates of Excellence. The recognition comes from guests and students — not marketing.
Explore
The Rainbow Reef
Rainbow Reef stretches between Vanua Levu and Taveuni and is consistently rated among the world's top dive destinations. The blocks of reef function like funnels, channelling tidal currents that bring nutrients and support an extraordinarily healthy ecosystem — vibrant soft corals, reef fish in abundance, turtles, sharks, rays, barracuda, nudibranchs, and macro life. Around 30 sites, from shallow coral gardens, ideal for snorkelling to walls dropping beyond 60 metres.
Diving here is highly dependent on the tidal schedule. Each site has its own optimal timing — you cannot simply go anywhere at any time. Our experienced guides select sites based on conditions, the tide, your experience level, and wish list. Our location at the heart of the reef, and the flexibility that comes with small groups and short boat rides, means we can find the right site at the right moment — on every dive.

The Great White Wall
A tunnel entry at 9–12m opens into a lava tube, emerging onto a near-vertical wall of white Dendronephthya soft corals that drops beyond 60 metres. The white colouring is distinctive — these corals don't rely on sunlight but extend their tentacles to feed on plankton when the current flows. When conditions are right, it looks like snow under water. Advanced divers can explore the deeper areas; Open Water divers can exit the tunnel at 15 meters and see the drop-off from shallower depths.
The White Wall is just outside Viani Bay, one of our closest dive sites. That means we can offer the Wall on almost any day by adapting our schedule to the tidal times and run guided night dives that no other operation in the area offers. Inside the tunnel: schools of squirrelfish, scorpionfish. On the wall: nudibranchs, shrimp, lion fish. And in the blue schooling fish and occasional sharks or manta rays.
Rainbow Reef
A few more examples of our underwater wonderland.

Rainbow's End and Passage
When timed right, these two sites are the most colourful on the Rainbow Reef. Soft and hard corals teaming with life, schooling fish, Napoleon Wrasse with its entourage, sharks, turtles.
top reef 5-7m, sandy bottom in 20m

The Zoo
A wall dive worth keeping an eye out into the blue: 3 species of barracuda, Giant Trivially, Grey Reef Sharks, White Tips and the occasional hammerhead, eagle rays. With stronger currents, we hook in to enjoy the scenery.
typical depth: 15 - 25m
suitable for all levels, depending on current

Jerry's Jelly
You could spend the whole dive at the bommie at 9 meters. But then, the reef awaits with soft corals, tomato clownfish, schooling banner and black tooth trigger fish, too many species to name them all.
